Project Venture Celebrates 40 Years of Empowering Indigenous Youth and Embracing Community

On a chilly November evening, Project Venture board & staff welcomed old friends and new friends to celebrate Project Venture's 40 years of empowering Indigenous Youth. The program featured guest speakers including acclaimed Diné writer and filmmaker Ramona Emerson, and Project Venture's very own Loxitawny, currently a PV Mentor, who spoke of the positive impact Project Venture had on her life. Although long-time friend and partner, Jane Goodall, was unable to attend, she graciously sent a special video message in honor of the event. Click here to see Jane's message.

A silent auction featuring hand drums painted by Indigenous and distinguished guest artists also took place. The event was held at Manitou Galleries, Santa Fe, New Mexico.
