Chris currently performs frontline policing duties in Northern Ontario, emphasizing respectful relationships and community engagement. Chris began his policing career in 1994 and is presently living and working in Red Lake, Ontario.

For thirteen years, Chris lived and worked with a First Nations community in Northern Ontario in the Treaty 5 territory, focusing on policing services and fostering positive police/community relationships. During that time, he worked extensively with Mac to design, coordinate, and implement Project Venture with Pikangikum's youth.

To build on his lived experience of policing and youth programming, Chris is presently furthering his education in community development through a master's program at the University of Victoria.
