Joe is a retired education publishing executive and has worked extensively with education technology over several decades, helping to pioneer distance learning systems. His work has taken him to adult education centers in several major cities, to migrant farmworker camps, and to job training centers throughout New England. 

Joe has been passionate about social justice issues with a focus on education equity, and access to quality health care for communities of color, especially among our Indigenous Native Americans. 

Enjoying “retirement” as an actor and freelance tv and film producer, Joe is a member of Rotary International. He is a graduate of Providence College, B.A. Communications, and has taken post-graduate studies at the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law. 

Joe is a proud father of a daughter and a son and even a prouder grandfather of two granddaughters. He comes from a large extended family including several family members who serve on the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribal Council in Mashpee, Massachusetts.
